The design draws directly from the Arts and Crafts aesthetic, referencing patterns originally produced between 1880 and 1930 by C.F.A. workshops in Dunemer and Donegal, Ireland. The carpet reflects the movement’s emphasis on craftsmanship, symmetry, and rich yet harmonious color palettes, combining Persian weaving traditions with late 19th-century European decorative ideals.
